ABB Orion3 Light Grids The Orion3 light grids from ABB combine both the transmitter and receiver in a single unit, called the active unit. The beams are then reflected using a mirror called the passive unit, which reduces cabling because it is not connected. The Orion3 is available in two options, a base model and an extended model.
